Venezuelan Banco Del Orinoco damages 11,000 Venezuelans on Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - 11,000 Venezuelans can no longer withdraw money from the Banco del Orinoco. This bank is located on Curaçao and falls under the supervision of the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten.
 
The troubled bank has not made any payments for 10 months.
 
According to a Venezuelan lawyer, the bank has liquidity problems. He will come to Curaçao on Monday for consultations with the Central Bank.
