SABA--The authorities in the United States have arrested a former student of Saba University School of Medicine on August 17, in connection with the so-called “Hector” investigation concerning the homicide of Kavya Guda. The 24-year-old student was found dead in her apartment in The Bottom on April 15, 2015.

PHILIPSBURG - A prisoner was shot dead by another inmate just after 9:00am in Pointe Blanche Prison. The victim was said to be Omar Jones. He was shot in the back, head and neck.
