Government retracts requirement for sex workers, accepting applications

PHILIPSBURG--Government has retracted its requirement for sex workers to have a crib number before they arrive in St. Maarten, and has started to accept applications for residence permits for these workers.

WILLEMSTAD--Curaçao’s parliamentary election scheduled for Friday has been postponed due to the expected passage of Hurricane Matthew north of the island late Thursday, it was decided during a meeting of the Supreme Electoral Council with all political parties involved.
