They may force the company to take-over their shares

Article 2:251(1) of the Netherlands Antilles Civil Code reads as follows: “A shareholder of registered shares, whose rights or interests are prejudiced to such an extent, by the conduct of the company or one or more co-shareholders, that a continuation of his shareholding cannot reasonably be required of him, may institute a claim against the company for withdrawal, demanding that his shares be acquired against payment in cash”.

BES laws approved

THE HAGUE--The Dutch Second Chamber on Tuesday approved the first batch of laws for the BES islands Bonaire, St. Eustatius, and Saba. Party for Freedom PVV and the one-member Verdonk faction voted against. The same sex marriage, abortion, euthanasia amendments were approved as well. Christian Union (CU) and the reformed SGP party voted against.

Mr. de Windt is een doorzetter. Als mens en als advocaat. Na een hersenbloeding, nu ruim twee jaar geleden, werkt hij nog steeds. Zij het dat mr. de Windt het wel wat rustiger aandoet. Als gepensioneerd docent vindt mr. de Windt het vooral leuk om zo nu en dan juridisch interessante zaken te doen. Hij zoekt het werk echter niet op.
