GHL Group Takes Over Both Kura Hulanda Hotels

WILLEMSTAD – Kura Hulanda Inc. has signed an agreement with GHL Hotels from Colombia to operate both hotels in Curacao, Kura Hulanda Otrabanda and Kura Hulanda Lodge in West Point, starting 1 December of this year. This is according to representatives of both organizations. Both hotels will start operating again on the date mentioned.
 
GHL Hotel is a Latin American company with Colombian origin which is present in 7 Lodge Kura Hulandadifferent countries in the South American continent. They operate more than 50 hotels. The hotel chain has positioned itself as a company with different names which is a force in the region. Various names as, Sonesta Collection, Sonesta Posadas del Inca, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, Wyndham, Hilton Garden Inn, Howard Johnson, Novotel, GHL Grand, GHL Style, GHL Relax and GHL Comfort, can be added to the hotel chain.
 
Since a few weeks ago when both hotels were declared bankrupt, GHL Hotels showed an interest in taking over the operations but was not able to sign reach an agreement. The Colombian tourism market is growing rapidly with more than 4 million tourists per year. The Colombian economy is on the rise.
