Day of the Supervisory Board Curacao 26 November

WILLLEMSTAD - On Thursday 26 November 2015, VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne organizes the Day of the Supervisory Board Curacao 2015. The theme of the day is the development of corporate law in the Dutch Caribbean – what has 10 years of the new Book 2 of the Civil Code given us?

Book 2 of our ‘new’ Civil Code is the hard core of corporate governance in Curacao. During this Day of the Supervisory Board, special attention is paid to the most important elements in this Code: what has it given us in the past ten years? Prof. mr. P. van Schilfgaarde, the author of ‘our’ Book 2, is one of the speakers during the first part of the program. After the break, the main topic is the supervision of financial institutions.
