DCLP Top 10 Law Firms Bonaire 2016

KRALENDIJK - The largest law firm of the Dutch Caribbean region, VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne, is still the largest law firm in Bonaire as well. HBN Law and Van Dijk/ Soliana Bonaparte & Aardenburg share the second place.

The rest of the top 10 consists of firms with only one lawyer. This is the result of the Top 10 law firms Bonaire 2016, launched by online legal news platform Dutch Caribbean Legal Portal this week. DCLP annually composes law firm rankings for the Dutch Caribbean jurisdictions and for Suriname, based on the number of lawyers of the firms (excluding tax advisers, notaries and paralegals).

VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne welcomed two new attorneys to their team in the past year, and now has a team of six lawyers. With two attorneys, the teams of HBN Law and Van Dijk/Soliana Bonaparte & Aardenburg remain steady in comparison to last year. Furthermore, half of the ten firms operate independently, with only an office in Bonaire.

Approximately 350 lawyers are officially registered at the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten and of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. About 20 of these 350 lawyers are located in Bonaire.
