Curacao administrators best in hedge funds

For the second consecutive year, Curacao administrators of hedge funds turned out to be the best among their colleagues in 17 geographical locations worldwide. On a scale of 1 to 7 (where 1 is unacceptable and 7 is excellent), Curacao scored 6.58, followed by the administrators of San Francisco (USA) with the score of 6.37. The British Channel Islands scored the lowest with a score of 4.34.

Hedge Funds are investment products for well-to-do individuals and institutional investors. By managing the funds very aggressively and ingeniously, they are trying to receive as much return as possible against as little risk as possible under the circumstances.

Of the 56 service providers that qualified for being considered for the Global Custodian 2008 Hedge Fund Administration Survey, 39 had enough votes to participate. Per category investment strategy, location, and managed capital, several numbesr of a minimum required votes, apply. Customers give a mark for 12 service provider areas, including relation management, investment services, information to fund-managers, tax processing, and so on. The final scores are rolled out based on different benchmarks.
