Cupecoy case: all three suspects faced with prolongation of their pre- trial detention

PHILIPSBURG - Yesterday the judge remanded the first suspect ( 28 year old M.K.J.) in this investigation in the next phase of pre-trial detention for a term of 60 days.

 
Today the second term of 8 days of pre-trial detention were ordered on 17 year old J.C.M. Last Monday 20 year old J.J.W. was led before the judge of instruction and faced his first 8-day term of pre-trial detention.
 
Although one of the suspects has admitted to being directly involved in the death of Michael and Thelma King and the two other suspects have admitted to their presence on the crime scene, police are still investigating all possible scenarios. Next to that police is focusing on all the details and loose ends that need to be investigated.
