Chamber of Commerce Bonaire calls candidates for position on the board

KRALENDIJK — Within the framework of the election to fill two vacancies in their board the Chamber of Commerce Bonaire recalls that candidates can apply for the position from 1 November up to and including 14 November 2012.

The vacancies for the period from 1 January 2013 up to and including 31 December 2015 regard one (1) for the large-scale industry and one (1) for the small-scale business.
 
Among other things, the Chamber of Commerce promotes the general interest of the business community, encourages entrepreneurship and is a discussion partner of the government. The board consists of five members and is assisted by a full-time secretary. A candidate for membership has a strong affinity with the business community and has knowledge of the issues regarding permanent development of Bonaire. A member’s efforts are considered to be honest and without any form of reward. The tasks mainly consist of reading documents, attending meetings and other activities with which the Chamber of Commerce is involved, directly or indirectly. Members are also to be prepared to fulfill specific administrative functions voluntarily. The time spent on the tasks is estimated at approx. five hours per week.
 

Eerste Kamer neemt motie Isla aan
