MOU signed between Aruba and St. Maarten for Tourism assistance

PHILIPSBURG - Minister with the responsibility for Tourism, Economic Affairs, Telecommunication and Transport, the Honorable Claret Conner, on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understand with his Aruban colleague, the Honorable Minister Otmar E. Oduber.
 
The MOU is geared specifically towards paving the way for the two countries to provide assistance in the area of tourism.
 
Minister Claret Conner expressed his gratitude for the initiative taken by the two. 
 
Meanwhile, Minister Oduber of Aruba was equally pleased with the signing of the document. He said that the MOU is a significant step towards the realization of a better working relationship between the two countries.

THE HAGUE--Attorney-at-law Roeland Zwanikken at St. Maarten’s BZSE law office is considering legal action against the intention of the Dutch ABN AMRO Bank to close the bank accounts of its clients in the Dutch Caribbean.
