New lawyer sworn in

Since end of March law firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne Curacao has a new lawyer: Eva Pennings. She was sworn in at the Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba on 11 May.

Eva was born in Leiden, the Netherlands. After graduating high school in Curacao, she left the island to study Civil law and Corporate law in the Netherlands. She graduated at Leiden University in 2005 (Corporate Law, Civil law, LLM). Eva was admitted to the Bar in the Netherlands in 2006. After this she worked for several years as an attorney at De Clercq, a medium-sized law firm in Leiden, and at a small firm in Dordrecht.

Eva has extensive experience in corporate- and contract law and is fluent in Dutch and English.
