Two more lawyers sworn in

Two young attorneys-at-law of law firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne were sworn in by the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten and Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

They strengthen the team's offices in Curaçao and Bonaire. Additionally, the firm provides services through offices in Aruba and St. Maarten. A total of 30 attorneys-at-law are currently working in the firm.

Sophie van Lint  has been working with VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne since August 2010. She is a trainee attorney-at-law at the Bonaire office. Sophie had been living in Saba for two years, working as general manager of a local hotel. Prior to that she worked at the district court at Dordrecht, the Netherlands. After obtaining her law degree at the University of Tilburg in 2005, she made a bike trip from the Netherlands to China, measuring 18,500 kilometers through 20 countries.

Rogier Tacke graduated from the University of Groningen, specializing in business law. Rogier is the third generation of his family residing in Curacao Tacke: "I'm very excited to be able to litigate now that I've been sworn in, because I think litigation is a important part of the legal profession." He has been working with VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne since October 2010.

Van Lint and Tacke complete the five VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne trainee attorneys-at-law who have been sworn in before the Joint Court of Justice over the past month.
