Starreveld sworn in at the Court

On 29 March Jeroen Starreveld, attorney and partner at Spigthoff Attorneys at Law and Tax Advisers, was sworn in by the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten and Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

Starreveld is an all-round tax lawyer with a focus on tax litigation and Curacao tax law.

He graduated in Tax Law in 2000 at the University of Utrecht and at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2006 for TopMaster (European) Direct Taxes.

From 2000 to 2006 he worked with Ernst & Young in the Netherlands and from 2006 at Spigthoff in the Netherlands.

Starreveld is co-writer with Maike Bergervoet of the publication The Netherlands Antilles Private Foundation in international privacy and asset protection structures , published in Trust & Trustees in 2010 and frequently publishes articles on tax litigation related topics, such as voluntary disclosure possibilities and tax information exchange agreements.
