Eric Jansen sworn in as an attorney

PHILIPSBURG - Last Friday Eric Jansen of BZSE Attorneys at Law & Tax Lawyers has been sworn in as an attorney at the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.

Jansen was already a tax lawyer at BZSE.

He studied law at the University of Tilburg. After his graduation he worked at tax advisory firms and the Inspectorate of Taxes in the Netherlands and Netherlands Antilles.

BZSE, founded in 2009, is the largest law firm in Sint Maarten and now has 10 attorneys at law.

The firm consists of managing partners Roeland Zwanikken and Joeri Essed, partners Rik Bergman, Jelmer Snow and Gert Bergman (tax lawyer), and associates Eric Jansen (tax lawyer), Camiel Koster, Pieter Soons, Christian de Jong and Norbert Hijmans (attorneys at law).

This has provided the lawyers of the office with a strong reputation, notably among local and international corporate clients.
