New lawyer SMS Attorneys at Law sworn in

WILLEMSTAD - Today the youngest associate of SMS Attorneys at Law, Mr. Vidjin Awadhpersad, was sworn in before the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten and of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

Vidjin Awadhpersad studied law at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and received his master's degree in criminal law, liability law and insurance law in 2013. Next to having gained legal experience with private banks Vidjin also gained legal experience in criminal law, first at the criminal court of Amsterdam and then with the public prosecutor’s office of Haarlem and Amsterdam as legal officer and court clerk.

Driven to enter into a new adventure in the legal practise Vidjin started working at SMS Attorneys at Law in February 2016, where he is focussing on the general legal practise.

 

At the same time Ms. Melissa Vasquez will be strengthening SMS Attorneys at Law as their tenth lawyer.
