Public Prosecutor: two separate attachments on Dos Santos’ assets

WILLEMSTAD - Contrary to statements made by Minister of Justice Elmer ‘Kadè’ Wilsoe at the press conference last Tuesday, the Public Prosecutor had indeed submitted two legal assistance requests with the American authorities for attachment on bank accounts from suspect Robbie dos Santos in the ‘Bientu-case’.

Joran Van Der Sloot to Fight US Extradition

LIMA, Peru May - Confessed murderer Joran van der Sloot told a judge on Tuesday that he will fight extradition from Peru to the United States, where he faces extortion and wire fraud charges in connection with the disappearance of American Natalee Holloway, his lawyer said.

Right of non-disclosure for heads of public service departments

WILLEMSTAD - Article 19 of the Inquiry Regulation, which regulates parliamentary inquires, states that heads of public service departments are not obligated to publish information which they think contravene the interest and security of the Kingdom or any part of such.

Sexual predator and murderer James Murray may be released, decision pending
