PHILIPSBURG--The Prosecutor's Office asked for life imprisonment Tuesday against the man suspected of the murder of Michael and Thelma King in their Ocean Club apartment in Cupecoy on September 19, 2012. The other two suspects in this case, which also includes armed robbery of a Chinese restaurant, are facing prison sentences of 28 and 24 years.

ARNHEM - Een 25-jarige marinier is volgens het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) schuldig aan een ongeluk op Aruba waarbij twee collega's omkwamen. Het OM wil dat hij 4 jaar gevanginisstraf, waarvan 1 jaar voorwaardelijk opgelegd krijgt, naast een rijverbod voor 5 jaar. Dat eiste de aanklager maandag voor de rechtbank in Arnhem.

WILLEMSTAD - Op Curaçao zijn dinsdag huiszoekingen gedaan bij verschillende bedrijven en instellingen in het onderzaak naar fraude bij de vastgoedpoot van SNS Reaal. Dat heeft het Openbaar Ministerie Curacao bevestigd.
