Three men arrested for entering St. Maarten with false documents

PHILIPSBURG--The Police Alpha Team at Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) arrested B.R.G.J. and E.M.C.R., who arrived on the Air Antilles flight from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, at 4:35pm Wednesday last week. Both passengers were nationals of the Dominican Republic.

CARACAS - Minister Blok is na zijn bezoeken aan Sint Maarten, Aruba, Curaçao en Colombia doorgereisd naar Caracas, de hoofdstad van Venezuela. Daar ondertekende hij samen met vicepresidenten El Aissami en Soteldo een akkoord over de opheffing van de grensblokkade die Venezuela eerder dit jaar had opgeworpen.

Dutch government gives green light for St. Maarten aid

PHILIPSBURG / THE HAGUE - Nearly seven months after hurricane Irma wreaked havoc on Sint Maarten, the first financial aid from the Netherlands is heading towards the island. 110 million euros for reconstruction will be released, State Secretary Raymond Knops of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations announced on Wednesday.
