Court orders mediator to solve UFA/Menzies dispute

Appeal won by receivers

Top 25 Dutch Caribbean Law Firms 2010

The Dutch Caribbean Legal Portal has composed a list of the Top 25 Law firms of the Dutch Caribbean for 2010, as well as the Top 10 Law firms of the relevant seperate Dutch Caribbean jurisdictions, being Curacao, Aruba, St Maarten and Bonaire (by number of lawyers).
The leading position in the Top 25 is for law firms VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne and HBN Law, both with their main office on Curacao and branches on Aruba, Bonaire, while HBN Law also has an office on Sint Maarten.

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek takes over from NautaDutilh

Last friday the yearly list of Top 50 Law firms in the Netherlands was made public. The list is part of the Stand van de Advocatuur 2010, a yearly publication by KSU Publishers. In the list De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek has this year taken over the leading position of NautaDutilh. The number of lawyers at De Brauw rose from 273 to 281. With this the firm is the only firm in the Top 10 that has shown a growth in the number of lawyers.
