KRALENDIJK - De Kamer van Koophandel en Nijverheid Bonaire zal verkiezingen houden voor het grootbedrijf en kleinbedrijf. De kiezerslijsten voor 2012 zijn inmiddels aangekondigd en voor het publiek beschikbaar.

WILLEMSTAD — MFK-fractieleider Dean Rozier mag zijn steun aan de coalitie hebben opgezegd, zijn partijlidmaatschap heeft hij niet beëindigd. “Hij is nog steeds Statenlid voor de MFK.” Dat zegt partijvoorzitter Amerigo Thodé die tevens waarneemt als Statenvoorzitter.

WILLEMSTAD - De Raad van Ministers (RvM) heeft woensdag een brief ontvangen van gouverneur Frits Goedgedrag. In de brief legt Goedgedrag uit hoe hij de aanwijzing opvat en wat zijn positie hierin is. De RvM betreurt dat er een andere invulling is gegeven aan de brief door er naar te refereren als curatele of verhoogd toezicht.

WILLEMSTAD - Gouverneur Frits Goedgedrag, als hoofd van de regering (landsorgaan), moet altijd zijn handtekening zetten op alle landsbesluiten en landsverordeningen. In het kader van zijn rol als vertegenwoordiger van het Rijk kan hij beslissen om een besluit of verordening ter vernietiging aan de Rijksministerraad voor te leggen als hij vindt dat dit tegen internationale wetten of het belang van het land of het Rijk indruist.

ORANJESTAD — Bureau Burgerlijke Stand en Bevolkingsregister (Censo) heeft tegen advocaat Anthony Ruiz een klacht ingediend bij de Orde van Advocaten. Ruiz zou documenten van het bevolkingsregister hebben doorgespeeld aan dagblad Solo di Pueblo.
