‘Wettelijke procedures windmolenpark genegeerd’

WILLEMSTAD – Met de plaatsing van vijf nieuwe mega windmolens in het natuurgebied van Playa Kanoa heeft de overheid de voorgeschreven wettelijke procedures van tafel geveegd. Dat vinden Amigu di Tera en Defensa Ambiental. Premier Gerrit Schotte zal het windmolenpark vandaag openen.

WILLEMSTAD – Minister van Gezondheid, Jacinta Scoop- Constancia houdt aanstaande maandag informatieve sessies over de Basisverzekering, genaamd ‘InformáMi’. Dat zei de minister gisteren tijdens een persconferentie. “Verandering gaat altijd gepaard met weerstand, maar het is wel nodig”, aldus de minister.

ORANJESTAD - Premier Mike Eman (AVP) moet zijn uitspraken tegen Eduardo Croes, broer van MEP-leider Evelyn Wever-Croes, rectificeren. Dat heeft het Gerecht in Eerste Aanleg vanochtend besloten in het kort geding dat Croes tegen Eman had aangespannen.

De laatste ministerraad voor de zomerstop was een rijksministerraad. Geflankeerd door minister Spies van Binnenlandse Zaken en – in dit verband zeer relevant – Koninkrijksrelaties berichtte premier Mark Rutte dat het een bijzondere rijksministerraad was geworden. Naast de gebruikelijke gevolmachtigde ministers waren namelijk ook de premiers van de landen Curaçao, Aruba en Sint Maarten aanwezig (die overigens ingevolge artikel 10 Statuut slechts een raadgevende stem hebben).
Akshon Sivil wil duidelijkheid MOT-meldingen Schotte

WILLEMSTAD – Stichting Frente Sivil, sinds vorige week omgedoopt tot Akshon Sivil, wil meer weten van de 50 MOT (Meldpunt Ongebruikelijke Transacties)-meldingen van betalingen van 800.000 gulden aan Gerrit Schotte toen hij nog gedeputeerde was. De stichting heeft een brief gestuurd aan procureur-generaal Dick Piar.

UTS wint weer zaak tegen uitzendkrachten

WILLEMSTAD - Uitzendkrachten, die door UTS en haar dochtermaatschappij TDS worden ingezet, zijn niet in dienst van het lokale dochterbedrijf, maar van het uitzendbureau waar ze geregistreerd zijn. Dit heeft de rechter bepaald in een bodemprocedurezaak, die zeven uitzendkrachten tegen UTS/TDS en de uitzendbureaus Angeru Construction en Dutch Caribbean Special Services (DCSS) hadden aangespannen.
