Former Kadaster Director fights his dismissal in court

ORANJESTAD — Buitenlanders die trouwen met een Arubaan, hebben straks – mits aan bepaalde voorwaarden wordt voldaan – geen vergunning meer nodig. Deze nieuwe regeling gaat in wanneer de nieuwe Landsverordening toelating en uitzetting (LTU), die binnenkort naar het parlement gaat, wordt aangenomen.

No jail time for not keeping trust shareholders’ registry

Spies rejects Statia’s budget Amendment

Organised cockfighting’ now exempted from punishment

PHILIPSBURG - Any structured or organised activity involving animals, such as the tradition of cockfighting, will not be punished as abuse of animals under the new Penal Code. The code was unanimously approved by Members of Parliament (MPs) Friday afternoon after Justice Minister Roland Duncan had submitted an amendment decriminalising organised activities with animals.
