PHILIPSBURG -- The National Ordinance on joint custody over minor children will go into effect on May 1. The ordinance was accepted by Parliament on September 27, 2012.

Zaak tegen van stalking en bedreiging verdachte militair geseponeerd

WILLEMSTAD – Het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) heeft de zaak tegen de 33-jarige Nederlandse militair, die werd verdacht van stalking en bedreiging van een minderjarig Nederlands meisje, geseponeerd wegens gebrek aan bewijs. De militair werd op 8 januari aangehouden nadat het meisje aangifte had gedaan.
Signaalfunctie notaris bij uitbuiting ouderen

NETHERLANDS - Notarissen starten dit voorjaar een proef om uitbuiting van ouderen tegen te gaan. De beroepsorganisatie van notarissen KNB zegt dat ouderen regelmatig door familieleden en bekenden onder druk worden gezet om hun testament aan te passen.

NETHERLANDS - Woensdagochtend onthulde de Telegraaf dat opsporingsdienst FIOD een onderzoek is gestart bij de de pas door de staat verworven bankverzekeraar SNS Reaal. SNS Reaal liet per persbericht weten dat het ook zelf bij justitie aangifte heeft gedaan tegen een 'voormalig directielid'. De aanleiding daarvan is de uitkomst van een intern onderzoek.
